Tibbot Building

Originally, a country school located southeast of Oskaloosa, the Tibbot School building now houses a variety of exhibits depicting businesses of the late 1800's. The building moved into Oskaloosa in the 1950's and to Old Jefferson Town in 1975, was renovated in 2000 to hold a bank, barbershop, dentist office, post office, millinery shop and doctor's office. Old country photographs and two restored buggies are also on display.
