Old Jefferson Day

The Jefferson County Historical Society (JCHS) is holding our Annual Old Jefferson Town Day and Tractor Drive on Saturday, August 23, 2025. This event consists of:

Tractor Ride/Exhibit

Exhibits of Small Engines, Cars, Trucks, Motorcycles, Antique Toys, Pedal Tractors & more.

Demonstrations planned: Blacksmith Shop, Rug Weaving and Rock Carving
As usual, the proceeds of this event will provide funds for:

repairs to our 11 vintage buildings at Old Jefferson Town
-
safeguard artifacts
-
foster education exhibits

Drivers & Exhibitors
The schedule for the day is:

Early Registration is recommended to help estimate the amount of food to prepare. The early registration fee is $40 (a $5 savings) and must be post marked or submitted electronically by August 1, 2025. The registration fee includes one meal ticket and one T-shirt.

8:00 am Registration. Registration fee after August 1, 2025 is $45.00. The registration fee includes one meal ticket and one T-shirt.

8:30 am Tractor Drive starts.

Don’t want to drive your tractor on the drive, that’s ok. Bring it for display for the day. We also encourage displays of stationary engines, antique toys, toy tractors, antique dozers, or any unique collection that you think would be of interest to the public.

11:30 am approximately Lunch will be served when the parade of tractors return to Old Jefferson Town.

Extra meal tickets and T-shirts are available for an additional fee.
